Our rugby club, established in 1924, has a thriving junior section that had over 140 junior players last season. We provide an opportunity for young players between the ages of 5 through to 15.

We believe in playing fairly, respecting the referee and rules of the game as well as the coaches and other players. But most importantly we believe our players should have fun on and off the field. As such we also have a few social events lined up. Keep an eye on the "Important Dates" section.

The season runs from beginning of September until middle/ end of April 2019. (exact end date vary by age group)

The season will have a combination of training sessions and matches (both at home & away). Full schedule for each team is available on the Pitchero club website. All are scheduled for Sundays, normal starting time is 10.00 AM unless otherwise advised.

The junior section is managed by volunteers and the players are also coached by volunteers. We actively encourage parents to become engaged in the management of the club, and those with an understanding of rugby and who wish to get involved with coaching to take the necessary coaching qualifications.
