After three weeks of training with other teams, Young Bedians at home and then away at Marple and Sale the U6s were pleased to enjoy a training session at home on Sunday. Even though it started in heavy rain, the sun did come out and we all enjoyed a few games to develop our skills. A few new team members were present but they soon got stuck into the games and the more experienced team members helped them get involved. As always King of the Ring and Tiggy Scarecrow were firm favourites. These were followed by Eggs and Nests and some passing games to develop ball skills. A quick and frantic game of Bulldog saw some excellent running for space by the attackers and tagging by the defenders. We finished with some Rugby Netball, getting use to passing and movement off the ball. A hotdog in the clubhouse was most welcome at the end.
Thanks to all for making the session such fun and we look forward to training at home again next week.
