On and windy, chilly morning, the last thing TocH U14’s wanted to happen was a repeat of the same fixture at Glossop, with the home team holding them to a hard fought win. This time the role was reversed, and TocH were the far better team and the result showed how much they had moved on
A quick try from Luke Hugo set the standard of how the game was to be played and strong running and good loose play ensured it wasn’t long before they crossed the line again with Giles Chenery scoring under the post for James Dobson to convert his second.
Captain, James Dobson played an outstanding game in the No 10 shirt and his efforts were rewarded with a try just before the break, which he also converted.
The second half was not as easy as the first, and with the visitors upping their game, they were rewarded with a try just after the restart.
This was not to last, and with TocH playing some outstanding rugby, along with Man of the Match Assed Awan work rate and linking with the backs, Luke Hugo was able to cross the line for 2 more tries.
