WEEK 1
HOME V WEST PARK
LANCS CUP.

After 8 weeks of hard work and graft, what a way to start our season. We get to welcome back to Didsbury, last seasons league winners, and deserved champions West Park. Testing ourselves against a level 6 opponent, who im sure have strengthened again this year, is a great opportunity for the boys. All 3 games last season finished within 7 points, but we lost the physical battle in all 3 games.

But last seasons near mis has created this year's excitement and ambition.

The boys have had a great pre season and developed in our game play. This has been clear to see in all 3 preseason games.
But most pleasing for me and vizey has been the fact we only conceded 3 tries in 3 games.
The pre season games have not all gone to plan, with some serious injuries picked up to 4 1st team players. We hope to have them all back this side of Christmas.
Whatever team is selected this week to represent the club, you can be sure they are ready to give their all to get to a Lancs cup semi.
