On behalf of the Senior Men’s setup, a warm welcome back to Toc H for the start of the new campaign. The entire squad and coaching staff are united in one objective this year: to deliver silverware, and make a memorable season of rugby both on and off the pitch.

Following a rigorous eight-week pre-season block, the lads are primed and eager to translate their hard graft into a performance. Attendance has been outstanding, consistently averaging over 40 players per session. Crucially, we have integrated a strong contingent of new faces into the senior squad, adding depth and competition across the board.

While late schedule adjustments threatened to disrupt our structured preparation, common sense prevailed at county level to ensure competitive rugby kicks off on schedule.
That journey begins today against newly promoted Southport. Cast your minds back to our encounter at the start of the 2024 season, where we narrowly escaped with a hard-fought victory; we are under no illusions regarding the task ahead. Southport are a disciplined, well-drilled side who play the game in the right spirit. Nothing short of our sharpest performance will suffice to secure the result on Saturday.

As we look to the season ahead, our sincere gratitude goes out to all our sponsors. Your continued backing is vital to the sustained success of the club. Furthermore, we remain committed to strengthening the bridge between our Minis & Juniors and the Senior section. We want to invite all junior players and parents down to the club on Saturday to watch. Please make yourselves known to the 1st XV squad after the match. You are the future of this club, and it won't be long before many of you are wearing the shirt yourselves.

Thank you for your incredible support. Enjoy the game, and let’s make some noise for the boys.
Kick-off: 2:15 PM
