Another week completed and another step in the right direction. The 1st XV came away with 5 points against a tough and combative Aspull side who stayed in the fight throughout the game. Toc’s clinical finishing is improving week on week and the adventurous yet controlled style of play is paying dividends with 15 tries scored through the backs so far this season.
The 1st XV return to Ford Lane this week for a tough test against an undefeated Eccles side, fresh from relegation, who look to be pushing hard to return to level 6. The lads look to forge their own way towards the top of the table with a strong performance on Saturday.
The 2nd XV have a chance to both extend their undefeated league run and secure a place in the next round of the cup in a double header away to Burnage.
An away game against neighbours Old Bedians sets the stage for the latest opportunity to secure that all important win for the 3rd XV which they have been so close to achieving.
Get down and support the lads this Saturday followed by a team social on the Didsbury Dozen.
