With the sun starting to set running up to the 14:15 kick off, Toc H 4s were raring and ready to win to keep them at the top of the table.

Receiving the ball to start was the best thing that could've happened for them. Man of the match (yes you read that correctly) caught the ball cleanly and after a few passes between the team, the ball found its way to newbie to the side, Tom Makin, who took the ball up through the Aldwinians defence to put them 5-0 up.
Toc knew that the try couldn't get to their heads, so with plenty of composure, they played the possession ball for 5 minutes. Every member of the team supporting the other into each ruck. Their patience paid off and the ball was greatly received by Joe Bulbeck, who darted through the line to score the 2nd try of the match.
With some great play by the forwards, it was clear that Aldwinians were getting frustrated at the lack of gaps that they could find. Against the run of play, the ball landed in Bulbeck's hands and he broke through to score the 3rd try of the game.
Winnies had a good few minutes after the 3rd try, and put 3 points on the board through a penalty.
As the 1st half was coming to a close, the game was taken out to the wings with some quality passing from Doughill and Bulbeck. Like the days of old, Bray and Edwards linked up well to find gaps in the retreating defence and Bray scored Toc's 4th try. The referee blew the half to a close.
Aldwinians started the second half as a completely different team, they were playing some fierce rugby and kept Toc in their own half for 10 minutes. The discipline of the Toc team was too much for Winnies, however, and the attack was well defended and the ball was turned over. The team returned the favour and from some great play by Daniels and Hammersley, the ball, yet again, landed with Bulbeck who used his screaming pace to score his hat trick.

The second half was quickly turning into a back-row game after Winnies opted for uncontested scrums. Great tackles from Ware, Fenton, and Kadeem saw the ball not get too far away from the scrums too allow for some great support play from Tango and Edgerton, and from this effort came a try from number 8, Kadeem.
Spirits were high, but Winnies weren't going down without a fight, they begun to push Toc back with a number of good runs. Notably,bWare was using his strength as a brick wall to stop the barrage of runs, but after hacking away for 10 minutes, Winnies scored a well earned consolation try.
After the kick off, there could only have been a few more minutes on the clock but with another great link-up amongst team mates, Kadeem and Ware, Ware found space and passed the gain line with ease and took a dive for the line to score his first ever try. (The dive looking more like he had tripped over his own laces, however)
The game ended 52-8 and Toc H 4s are still sitting comfortably at the top of the table. If things stay as they are, it should make for two very interesting derbys against the 3s.
Churchy, captain of Toc H 3s was unavailable for comment.
