The unusually hot weather did little to stand in the way of what was an emphatic victory for this developing side. Some of the rugby on show was superb; from the tenacious work from a well drilled forward pack to the fluid movement from the backs, the game was truly one to savour.
The victory was never in doubt due to some superb team tries and solid defending. Toc were the first to every ball and managed to capitalise on every mistake made by the visiting team. Having had the past few matches marred by some poor handling and basic errors, Toc looked well drilled in every area of the pitch, scoring tries from a variety of positions and really taking the game to their opponents.
It was a great team win and it was difficult to pick out one player, however Aiden Jones’ efforts at scrum half were well rewarded with two tries and he duly received the Man of the Match accolade.
