Didsbury Toc H U14's continued their winning streak in the Blacksticks Blue Junior Challenge competition with a comfortable win at home to Bury
The win secured their position into the quarter finals of the Plate and they will now face Trafford MV on the 3rd March.
4 tries from Giles Chenery, 2 from Assed Awan and 1 each from Luke Hugo and Jake Finn along with 4 conversions by james Dobson were more than enough to prove their worth, and proof that they can beat even tougher opposition than that encountered in the competition so far.
Good tight forward play was the key today, given the conditions and difficulties the backs had to endure, and with superb rucking and mauling, Bury were always going to struggle. Toc H Flankers, Joseph Aquant and Joe May-Roberts deserved to share the man of the match for their workload at every break down.
