U13s vs Eccles

After a brace of wins last week, Toc started in confident mood. Kicking off allowed Toc to gain early territory and some good handling and a move down the right established a presence in the Eccles 22. Mo appeared to have consumed the entire team's ration of bananas as he made a series of strong runs. Then, a move from right to left, with more good passing, ended with Ed crossing the line.

Toc passed the ball well both ways and continued to make ground and apply pressure on the Eccles defence. Good tackling and strong rucking meant Eccles couldn't get out of their half until a couple of missed tackles allowed a player to run 60 metres to score. Knotted at ones.

After five minutes, it was a good, even contest. Eccles then scored a few more.
