A tough game closer than the score suggests

TocH turned up with 15 players but again due to absences key positions were played by players out of position.

Having Mike coaching the lads before the match helped massively, all the team want to improve and the spirit was excellent.

This showed with an excellent try for TocH within 5 minutes which was brilliantly worked by the forwards. TocH relaxed the pressure and for the next 15 minutes were defending constantly Aldwinians scoring 14 points during this period.

TocH pulled themselves together and after a spectacular team try finished off by Pack Leader Kaddy, they went in at half time 14-10 down.

The second half started with another excellent forwards try for the pack touched down by Metehan for his first try of the season. 15-14

Unfortunately, careless rucking let Winnies back into the match and within a 15 minute period they managed to score 21 points.

Some of the forward game gave a lot of hope for the future, Angus at scrum half and Dan at Fly half (both out of position) played excellently. And with more straight running the backs put together some excellent movesBen crashing through the defence and Lee linking up with both Iise and Abubaker excellently.
More training and practice and we will beat this lot in 3 weeks.

After talking to the Captain Angus we decided we had 8 men of the match THE FORWARDS.
