A nice morning but a very heavily muddy pitch it was perfect for a good match.
The game started well with TocH attacking well and forcing Oldham back with dominant forwards play and within 5 minutes an off load to Lee gave him the space to tear through the Oldham backs and score the opening try within 5 minutes.
At the 15 minute point again some good link play from the forwards Dan at scrum half and Angus alowed us to spin the ball out creating the room for Lee to run in a second try.
It was at this point that TocH started to play too much individual Rugby and they let Oldham back into the game and eventually conceded a try scored by the Oldham forwards.
TocH realised that they had let them in the game and sorted themselves out and fought back into the game, just before half time a brilliant 40 yard break by Kadeem he timed the offload to Iise perfectly and with excellent pace Iise scored the third try which was converted by Fenton.
Half time 16 - 5
The second half was a lot tougher with TocH defending continually, some amazing tackling from all the players notably Josh Fox whose defence won him Man of The Match, Paul Abubaker and Iise kept us in the half. Tom Jenkinson made a fantastic break ran 60yards only to be taken down by a vicious neck tackle which the Referee unfortunately missed should have been a penalty try. Lee finished off the match with his 3rd try of the game and then insisted on converting it too.
I could praise everyone but JC as No8 really gave us a new dimension, and Angus orchestrated the backs excellently, Lee as usual was outstanding and the day he passes before he is stopped he will get man of the match again.
WELL DONE LADS
